Quick Start Guide

Get your first monitor up and running in under 2 minutes.

Step 1: Create an Account

Sign up for a free PulseKeep account at pulsekeep.io/auth/register. No credit card required.

Step 2: Add Your First Monitor

  1. From your dashboard, click the "New Monitor" button
  2. Enter a name for your monitor (e.g., "My Website")
  3. Enter the URL you want to monitor (e.g., https://example.com)
  4. Select your check interval (default: 60 seconds)
  5. Choose monitoring regions (we recommend at least 2 for accuracy)
  6. Click "Create Monitor"

Step 3: Set Up Alerts

When you create your first monitor, we automatically create an email alert using your account email. You can add more integrations:

  1. Go to Integrations in the sidebar
  2. Click "Add Integration"
  3. Choose your preferred channel (Email, Slack, Discord, Telegram, Webhook)
  4. Follow the setup instructions for your chosen integration

💡 Pro Tip

Use the "Send Test" button on any integration to verify it's working correctly before relying on it for alerts.

What Happens Next?

PulseKeep will start checking your URL from multiple regions around the world. If your site goes down:

  • You'll receive an instant alert via your configured integrations
  • An incident will be created and tracked
  • When your site comes back up, you'll receive a recovery notification
